1. Information We Collect

  • Phone Number, Device Id, Preferences and Account Settings
• b. Health & Fitness Data
  • Data collected via Android Health Connect, Apple HealthKit or other integrated sources: steps, active calories burned, total calories burned, distance, exercise sessions, sleep metrics, heartrate, exercise type and duration.
  • Manually entered food logs, meal entries, preferences, dietary restrictions
• c. Location Data
  • Geolocation data used to offer restaurant and meal suggestions based on your location and dietary preferences.
• d. Device & Usage Data
  • Device identifiers, IP address, operating system version, App usage statistics and crash logs via thirdparty tools such as Sentry.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and personalize the Services, including meal suggestions, activity tracking, and insights;
• Offer location-based recommendations of meals and restaurants;
• Analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, improve functionality, and develop new features;
• Administer your account, process subscriptions, and communicate with you;
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
• AI‑powered algorithms may generate predictive nutrition information, food ratings, or dietary classifications. This information may not always be accurate and should not be relied upon without independent verification.

3. Storage, Security & Retention

• All user data is stored on secure servers operated by MaxAI, Inc. with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and secured by authentication and audit logs. We retain data for as long as your account is active and erase it upon deletion unless required by law.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health data. We use Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics; these data are processed anonymously and not linked to your identity. We may disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

5. International Data Transfers

• By using the App, you consent to data transfer, storage, and processing in the United States and other jurisdictions where MaxAI, Inc. or its service providers operate, under safeguards consistent with this Privacy Policy.
• To provide accurate food data, we integrate with the FatSecret Platform for nutrition and food database services. Certain food details may be sourced directly from FatSecret.

6. Children’s Privacy

• The App is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have such data, contact us at contact@maxaix.com for prompt deletion.

7. Your Rights and Control

• You may access, update, or delete your data via the App or by emailing us.
• You may withdraw consent at any time, though this may affect functionality.
• Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently erased unless retention is legally required.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

• We may use cookies, mobile identifiers, and similar technologies to collect information about your device and usage behavior. You may disable cookies on your device, but this may limit App functionality.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be notified via email and/or in-app notification. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
